Power in the Positives!
According to UC Davis's studies on Gratitude, daily/weekly gratitude produced happier outcomes for participants. http://psychology.ucdavis.edu/Labs/emmons/PWT/index.cfm?Section=4
This page is meant for the use of daily positives and gratitude. To share and increase happiness with others.
1. Feeling the love and consideration from others through participation in my "experiment".
2. Getting to see something new today. (Saw a water fountain with different colored lights under streams.)
3. Gorgeous sunset today!
4. Wind. It powers electricity, makes the trees dance, cools my house, and makes the air smell fresh!
5. Popcorn. It can be wickedly bad (mmmm cinnamon sugar or caramel or super dooper butter popcorn) or heavenly light and fluffy. My favorite is honey butter popcorn. 10-12 cups or air popped popcorn, 1TBS of butter, 1-2 teaspoons of honey, salt. MMMM
6. Teeth. I appreciate having teeth. (Even if they get popcorn stuck in them). :)
7. Owl City. He has such a great "Cinderella Story" and fantastic music. When I am having a downer moment or want to increase my happy time I put on Owl City "cuz it's always a good time!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7HmzwI67ec
8. Leftovers. The fact that I am so blessed with food that I have enough to have for breakfast the next day is incredible. There are people who don't have the luxury.
9. Learning a new skill. It is good to have something ELSE in my tool belt of abilities.
10. Meeting my blog goal. 1 down, 1 started!
11. Having an easy bed time.
12. Getting to get out of the house into the sunshine and feel productive!
